Among the coaching staff, one individual who, along with Shane Waldron and Chad Morton, had interviewed with the Chicago Bears, has reportedly made a decision regarding his coaching destination for 2024. However, contrary to expectations, it appears that he won’t be heading to the Windy City.

Sanjay Lal initially joined the Seattle Seahawks staff in 2020 before serving as the wide receivers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. He then returned to the Seahawks for the last two seasons, taking on the roles of passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach. Lal has prior experience working alongside the Los Angeles Chargers’ new offensive coordinator, Greg Roman. This collaboration occurred during their time with the Buffalo Bills, where Roman was the offensive coordinator and Lal served as the wide receivers coach from 2015 to 2016.
