According to Sport4ocus, Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has enlisted Eddie Gordon as an assistant offensive line coach.

In 2023, Gordon served as the offensive line coach at UAB following his contributions to the formidable offensive line at Georgia.

Trent Dilfer, UAB coach and former NFL quarterback, expressed gratitude for Gordon joining the UAB staff last year, highlighting Gordon’s pivotal role in shaping two national championship offensive lines.

Dilfer emphasized Gordon’s widespread respect within the offensive line community and his significant impact on Georgia’s success in recent years.

Gordon served as a graduate assistant for the Bulldogs’ offensive line from 2019 to 2021, and in 2022, he worked as a quality control coach. During his tenure, Georgia achieved consecutive championships and consistently appeared in prestigious New Year’s Six bowl games, securing victories in the Sugar Bowl in 2019 and the Peach Bowl in 2020.

Throughout Georgia’s remarkable 29-1 run, they excelled nationally in various aspects. In 2022, they ranked fourth nationally in sacks allowed and sixth nationally in 2021. Additionally, they consistently ranked in the top 20 in rushing offense.

Prior to his time at Georgia, Gordon spent two seasons at Louisiana from 2017 to 2018. In 2017, he served as the Ragin’ Cajuns’ offensive line graduate assistant, and in 2018, he held the roles of director of player development and assistant strength and conditioning coach.
