Tony Shaw has raised concerns about the effort from Collingwood’s players, urging coach Craig McRae to “take control” as their bid for a premiership slips away.
Following a heavy loss to Hawthorn on Saturday, the Pies find themselves two games behind the top eight. Shaw told [Sport4ocus](https://sport4ocus.com) that the team seems to have lost their edge in key moments, a crucial factor in their successful 2023 season.
“I believe the players have too much freedom,” he said on Sport4ocus. “I think Craig McRae needs to tighten the reins and take more control.”
