Among other schools, the 6-foot, 175-pound star turned down offers from Wisconsin, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Auburn before deciding to join the Wolverines.

Pile shared his reasoning, saying, “Michigan is the reigning national champion and provides a top-notch education. The coaching staff’s reputation for turning out NFL players made me feel at home. It checks all the boxes for me at the next level. It is time to start working now.

Wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy played a significant role in Pile’s commitment, and the coaching staff was thrilled when they received the news earlier this week.

“They welcomed me to the family,” Pile said. “Everyone had a lot of excitement.”

Pile said, “Fans can expect someone who is focused from start to finish and consistently makes plays!” in reference to what he would bring to Ann Arbor.

He joins four-star cornerback Brody Jennings and quarterback Brady Hart as the third commitment in Michigan’s 2026 class. Pile was excited about developing a rapport with Hart.

“I worked with Brady Hart at camp, and he’s the real deal. He can really throw! We will undoubtedly be an entertaining quarterback-receiver combination to watch.

Pile is currently ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 66 player in Texas for the 2026 class, the No. 78 wide receiver in the country, and the No. 492 overall prospect.
