BREAKING: New York Jets Seal Trade to Strengthen Offensive Line for Aaron Rodgers in 2024…

The New York Jets had a glaring need for improvement in their offensive line as they entered the 2024 NFL Free Agency period. Recognizing this, General Manager Joe Douglas took action by signing left guard John Simpson. However, this move alone wasn’t sufficient.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to trade starting right tackle Morgan Moses and the 134th pick in the 2024 NFL draft to the New York Jets in exchange for the 112th and 218th picks in the same draft.

This trade marks the return of Morgan Moses to the Jets, where he previously played in 2021 before joining the Ravens for the last two seasons. With Moses back in the fold, the Jets’ offensive line is expected to see a significant improvement. Currently, their projected offensive line includes John Simpson, Joe Tippman, Alijah Vera-Tucker, and Morgan Moses.

Over the past couple of days, the Jets have made substantial improvements to their offensive line. Moses has proven himself as a dependable right tackle, boasting an impressive 84.6 PFF grade since 2020. Additionally, his run-blocking grade of 8.4 since 2020 ranks sixth among all offensive tackles. With the 10th pick in the NFL draft and the option to acquire free agents to address the left tackle position, the Jets have made significant strides in bolstering their offensive line.
