Whether it’s viewed by middle schoolers, NFL coaches, or Hall of Fame selectors, they see a player who gives his all. That’s the caliber of player I seek. Take, for example, Braden Fisk from Florida State or [Laiatu] Latu from UCLA—these guys exemplify the spirit of a true competitor. They’re rare breeds, and that’s what I prioritize when evaluating film.
It’s not just about raw talent or skill; it’s about the relentless pursuit of excellence, sacrificing one’s body for the team. Effort and consistency lay the foundation for success, and everything else falls into place from there.
Regarding the NFL Draft, it’s scheduled to take place in Detroit, Mich., from April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
