The Raiders have reached an agreement with offensive lineman Andrus Peat, as reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Peat, a former Pro Bowl player, was formerly associated with the New Orleans Saints, and there were indications that he might return to the team in 2024.
Peat earned Pro Bowl nods for three consecutive years with the Saints from 2018 to 2020, maintaining his starting position through the 2023 season with a total of 102 career starts.
While the Raiders are yet to find a permanent solution at quarterback, they are focused on protecting whoever takes the helm. This responsibility will likely fall to either Gardner Minshew or Aidan O’Connell, unless there’s an unexpected development before training camp.
