Less than a day after their AFL showdown resulting in a narrow victory for the home team, the Blues and Dees are set to clash once more, eager to reclaim victory at the VFL level.
The return of defender Caleb Marchbank, who has recovered from a concussion and back injury since Good Friday, adds strength to the Blues’ lineup. Joining him are David Cuningham and Orazio Fantasia, injecting speed and agility into the team. Alongside Marchbank, Sam Durdin, and a resurgent Lewis Young, the Blues’ defense looks formidable.
Additionally, VFL-listed defender Logan Prout and Coates Talent League prospect Oliver Poole further strengthen Carlton’s squad, deepening the connection between the Carlton Reserves and the Bendigo Pioneers.
Brodie Kemp exits the team after his recent AFL promotion, while Darcy Hogg, Bailey Lambert, Zavier Maher, Tom Phillips, and Archie Stevens make room for the returning players.
