The Tractor Boys reportedly aim to secure a permanent deal for their former loanee Omari Hutchinson, who impressed with 11 goals in all competitions during Ipswich’s promotion campaign. However, they may consider signing this attacker if a move for the Chelsea youngster falls through.
A report from TEAMTalk at the end of last month suggested that Ipswich Town were gearing up to make a move for Newcastle United’s Miguel Almirón. The ambitious deal would require a fee in the region of £21m.

With Eddie Howe’s team aiming to offload several players this offseason, including some seasoned professionals, it’s not surprising to see Almirón’s name among those rumored to be leaving. The Paraguayan midfielder has made an impressive 209 appearances for Newcastle United since his much-heralded arrival in 2019.The former club-record signing failed to impress this season for the Magpies. His FBRef numbers compared to Hutchinson struggled in certain areas over the last year. Additionally, the former Atlanta United man managed just three Premier League goals in total.
