In light of the Green Bay Packers‘ impressive wide receiver lineup, an NFL analyst has revived the idea of trading for Dallas Cowboys‘ star wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb. Maurice Morton from Bleacher Report has suggested that the Packers could offer Christian Watson, along with a 2025 first-round pick and a 2025 third-round pick, in exchange for Lamb.
Morton believes this move would enhance Green Bay’s offense, which showed considerable promise last season despite Watson’s injuries. The Packers have a young, talented receiving corps and significant cap space, making the trade feasible. However, with Lamb in the final year of his contract and no trade request from him yet, the Packers might hesitate, especially after recent contract extensions for key players.
Green Bay’s depth at wide receiver, including Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks, coupled with a focus on maintaining balance in their passing game, suggests they may prefer to keep their current roster intact rather than pursuing Lamb.
