Tukimihia Simpkins Returns to NRL: Signs with Gold Coast Titans

Former Wests Tigers forward Tukimihia Simpkins is set to make his return to the NRL next season after signing a new two-year contract with the Gold Coast Titans, extending through the end of the 2026 season.

Following a successful campaign with the Norths Devils that culminated in a QLD Cup Grand Final appearance, Simpkins will join the Titans’ development list. After spending the previous four seasons with the Wests Tigers and their feeder team, the Western Suburbs Magpies, he relocated to Queensland to continue his career.

At just 22 years old, Simpkins stands at an impressive 192 cm and weighs 105 kg. He made five appearances for the Tigers three years ago, having previously joined them from the North Queensland Cowboys.

Des Hasler expressed excitement about Simpkins joining the development roster, stating, “Tuki has been really impressive for the Norths Devils this season, and it’s great to have him with us to bolster our pack. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue his rugby league journey here.”

With his return to the NRL, Simpkins aims to make a significant impact and contribute to the Titans’ aspirations in the coming seasons.
